Hosted by Launch Tennessee, it will be held May 15 during the five-stop Southeast Tour.

Knoxville is one of 16 stops during the 2024 America’s Seed Fund Road Tour, a national outreach effort to connect innovators and entrepreneurs to non-dilutive, technology funding opportunities provided through the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs.

The stop in Knoxville is one of five scheduled for the week of May 13 in what is deemed the Southeast Tour. Hosted by Launch Tennessee, it will be held May 15 (details to follow). Other stops during the regional tour are:

  • May 13 in Columbia, SC hosted by the University of South Carolina;
  • May 14 in Atlanta, GA hosted by Innovation Gateway at the University of Georgia, Center for Black Entrepreneurship, and Small Business Development Center at Morehouse;
  • May 16 in Lexington, KR hosted by the Kentucky Science & Technology Corporation; and
  • May 17 in Huntington, WV hosted by TechConnect West Virginia and Marshall University.

They are half-day events running from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. local time.

More details on the other stops, as well as preparing for a one-on-one meeting with an SBIR or STTR Program Manager and the three-day virtual program in late January, can be found here.
