Victor Brown updates Xcellent Life app, launches competition for users
Victor Brown, the West Tennessee Entrepreneur who co-founded Xcellent Life, announced this week that he has launched the latest version of the start-up’s mobile app and is celebrating with a special competitive opportunity for those who download the new version or update their existing app.
We first met Brown in 2016 when he participated in “GIGTANK 365” operated by Chattanooga’s CO.LAB and reconnected last year when he participated in CO.LAB’s “HealthTech Accelerator.” During those years, his passion for advancing the wellness of individuals had not waned as Brown recalls the impact on a family member’s health as the result of an incomplete diagnosis.
Xcellent Life’s Cloud Platform collects 38 different metrics, then utilizes artificial intelligence to understand how those factors are correlated to one another and how they are affecting a person’s health based on very specific personal information like age, sex, medical history, genealogy, lifestyle and environmental factors.
Earlier this year, Brown participated in two additional programs – the “Velocity Accelerator: operated out of Birmingham’s Innovation Depot (see recent teknovation.biz article) and the “Conscious Ventures Labs (CVL) Accelerator” in Baltimore (see this teknovation.biz article).
Now, with the new app, he’s encouraging existing and new users to download it and participate in the “Xcellent Life Wellness Competition” where $2,500 will be awarded. To participate, individuals need to download the app from their device’s store, set-up a profile, and join the challenge. Brown also offers these tips on having a better chance of winning because points are awarded in each category: (1) improve your physical activity (take more steps each day); (2) improve your body mass index; (3) report your mood in the app at least once a day; (4) share our wellness content to your network when we send you a request; and (5) invite others to download the app using your referral code.
