
“What’s the Big Idea?!” application deadline is 5 p.m. April 4
You have less than 48 hours to submit your application to participate in the 2014 version of the “What’s the Big Idea?!” business plan competition. The deadline is tomorrow (April 4) at 5 p.m.

After the deadline passes, the judges will select 15 contestants on April 11 to participate in two “Idea Launch” seminars. These sessions will help the entrepreneurs refine their ideas and fine-tune their pitches for the “Team Selection Night” on May 6 when the participants are reduced to nine.
The ”Knock-Out Competitions” set for June 3 will further reduce the participants to three for the June 24 finale.
The ultimate winner earn $10,000 to help defray start-up costs, office space, and complimentary business services.
“What’s the Big Idea?!” is a joint initiative of the Knoxville Chamber, Development Corporation of Knox County, and Tech 20/20.
