Two deadlines looming for local accelerators
Both the “Techstars Industries of the Future Accelerator” and "Innovation Crossroads" close later this week.
This is the final reminder about two local accelerator programs that have application deadlines looming.
Those interested in applying for the “Techstars Industries of the Future Accelerator” must do so by November 29. If you are wondering if the accelerator is a good fit for your start-up, Managing Director Brandon Bruce has the answers in this Q&A. The program starts March 11, and Demo Day is June 6.
As of Sunday, he reported that 146 individuals had applied. Once the deadline passes, “The goal will be to narrow applications to approximately the Top 40 for Interview 1 meetings to be held over the next few weeks. That will be followed by Interview 2 meetings for select start-ups in order to narrow the field to the Top 20 which will go to Screening Committee,” Bruce says.
The very next day is the application deadline for the 2024 cohort of the “Innovation Crossroads” program operated by Oak Ridge National Laboratory. This will be the eighth cohort for the two-year program.
