Techstars partnering with eBay on eCommerce accelerator

Like Cohort 2 of the Industries of the Future Accelerator, it will be a mostly virtual 13-week program.

Techstars, which will put a wrap on Cohort 2 of its Industries of the Future Accelerator with a summit on June 21 in Knoxville, has announced its latest accelerator with a well-known brand.

It is the Techstars Future of eCommerce powered by eBay accelerator that is designed to support start-ups working on innovative technologies that will help shape the future of eCommerce. It marries eBay, a global commerce leader that connects millions of buyers and sellers around the world, and Techstars, the most active pre-seed investor in the world that provides access to capital, programming, and connections to early-stage entrepreneurs.

The 13-week accelerator program will be hybrid, allowing founders the flexibility to participate both in-person in San Francisco and remotely at various points throughout the duration of the program. This ensures the program remains accessible to a diverse range of start-ups and entrepreneurs, regardless of their stage, circumstances, or location.

Applications for the eCommerce accelerator are being accepted through July 5. To register for the June 21 Industries of the Future Summit, click here.
