Spring edition of “Vol Court” launches next week

First session is scheduled for February 6; pitch competition will wrap it up on February 27.

The Spring edition of the “Vol Court Speaker Series & Pitch Competition” is scheduled for the month of February with University of Tennessee, Knoxville (UTK) students, faculty, staff, alumni, and local community members invited to attend. Current UTK students who attend two of the three speaker sessions in person will be eligible to pitch in the week four competition for prize money.

As is the custom, each weekly session leading up to the pitch event features a local entrepreneur. This semester’s presenters by date are:

The sessions, organized by the Anderson Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation, run from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. EST in Room 202 of the Haslam College of Business. The pitch competition is scheduled for the same location on February 27 with prizes of $1,500 for first place, $1,000 for second place, and $500 for third place.

Pre-registration is not required.
