NinePatch developing Community Information Exchange for California county

The Mariposa County, CA Health and Human Services Agency (HHSA) has announced a collaboration with Knoxville-based NinePatch Inc. to create a Community Information Exchange (CIE).
This work will help HHSA, as well as its partners, support a healthy, safe, and thriving Mariposa County. The implementation of the CIE will be a cooperative effort between Mariposa County HHSA, NinePatch, and various community partners.
“We are excited to support the partnership with Mariposa County HHSA and their community partners to support residents and visitors in this scenic community in Central California,” said Leigh Sterling-Gooden, NinePatch President and Chief Executive Officer. “Creating a system for data exchange will allow greater efficiencies for access to health, emergency, and social care.”
For the rural community that spans 1,463 square miles but only has 18,000 residents and five million visitors annually, it will bring together a community partnership between health, human, behavioral health, and social service providers for daily support, disaster, or trauma services.
“Establishing connections between county services and community organizations is vital for Mariposa County,” said Joe Lynch, HHSA Director. “We are excited to be implementing a technology that supports our System of Care approach to better serve our community. The CIE will make it easier for HHSA and their partners to coordinate care, streamline communications, and share information to close the loop of health and social referrals more efficiently.”
The CIE launch is scheduled for a late second quarter 2023 launch.
