Motoring Labs lands pilot deals with Tranco Logistics and Volkswagen
The founder, Scott Willison recently completed the Sustainable Mobility Accelerator in Chattanooga.
There’s good news for Motoring Labs, a participant in the most recent cohort of The Company Lab (CO.LAB) and gener8tor’s Sustainable Mobility Accelerator. The founder, Scott Willison announced last week that he launched two new pilot programs with Tranco Logistics and Volkswagen.
Motoring Labs Logisite™ truck scanning technology uses a camera array at the entrances and exits of a logistics business to extract up to 120 points of unique data, as well as catalog damage from each vehicle. That provides the customers of Motoring Labs with a holistic view of their fleet operations.
Tom Ballard, the Editor of teknovation.biz, spoke with the founder in November. At the time, Willison shared about Motoring Labs’ first pilot, which was secured with Renewable Transport Services in Indianapolis. Additionally, he mentioned that several organizations in Chattanooga were also interested in partnering.
On LinkedIn, Willison shared a sentiment about Motoring Lab’s progress, ” I could not have gotten here without the incredible support of so many. This journey has been challenging and rewarding, but it’s only fueled my drive to keep pushing Motoring Labs forward to create a lasting impact.”
Additionally, CO.LAB shared a post about Willison’s accomplishments through the accelerator. During the 12-week program, he pitched to more than 110 people, met with a number of players in the sustainability space, and opened a new office inside Tranco Logistics.
Willison describes his experience in Chattanooga as incredibly collaborative, with strong support from venture firms, business leaders, and the CO.LAB team, calling it one of the best decisions he’s made for Motoring Labs.
