Eleven companies have been funded so far through the “InvestTN” program

Five are from Nashville, three from Chattanooga, and one each from Cookeville, Kingsport, and Knoxville.

Launch Tennessee has announced the start-ups that have received funding under the “InvestTN” program, one of the three components of “FundTN” that draws its funding from the federal State Small Business Credit Initiative.

After announcing Kingsport’s Personality Pool as the first recipient at the end of November (see teknovation.biz article here), Launch Tennessee officially added another 10 companies. Five are from Nashville, three are from Chattanooga, and one each calls either Cookeville or Knoxville home.

The companies are as follows:

  • Approva of Chattanooga is a B2B (business-to-business) Vertical Saas (sales-as-a-service) firm that connects alternative mortgage lenders and brokers in real-time, guaranteeing the best deal in the fastest time.
  • ATS Innovations of Cookeville, a woman-owned medical device company and creator of the MetaFlex glove, a novel innovation designed to reduce hand pain and improve strength and mobility.
  • CareAlly of Nashville helps families anticipate and plan for the financial costs and personal impacts of caregiving and aging. Their platform empowers families to protect assets, make better decisions, and be less of a burden.
  • Daily Crunch, also of Music City, is a consumer packaged goods company that found an innovative way to sprout and dehydrate nuts, making them more nutrient-dense, easier to digest, and crunchier than raw or roasted nuts.
  • EirSystems Inc. of Chattanooga was founded in 2018 with the goal to create world-class medical software for both providers and patients. The company has two products, an eMAR and an e-prescribe platform, which are both industry leaders bringing innovation to the U.S. healthcare industry.
  • Giggs, a Nashville-based hub where touring professionals, production companies, and other music industry professionals can connect, collaborate, and discover opportunities more efficiently than ever. Giggs is a comprehensive platform that combines a robust job marketplace with the power of social networking.
  • inSearchX is a generative AI platform, located in Nashville and focused on engaging auto shoppers with proprietary content and offers.
  • iO Urology, a Knoxville-headquartered start-up that just announced a significant capital raise (see teknovation.biz article from Monday here), and its CarePath product have revolutionized urologic patient care by bringing advanced, personalized, technology-driven urologic care into the home.
  • Krepling of Chattanooga is the world’s first composable platform for eCommerce, enabling merchants to build their ideal eCommerce stack from scratch, without writing a single line of code.
  • One of None, another Nashville start-up, is an end-to-end authentication service that enables creators to eliminate counterfeits, receive royalties on resale transactions, and strengthen their connection to their collectors.
