A new offering by Omega Business Solutions is streamlining workflow for businesses

The founder, Marcus Blair, is focused on getting CoreIQ into the hands of the business owners who need it most.

Arrive at work. Log in to the computer. Complete two-factor authentication.

Next, access the client portal—another round of two-factor authentication—sift through folders, and locate the necessary data. Then it’s time to log in to the HR platform, QuickBooks, and maybe a project management tool. More folders. More data.

What should take minutes ends up burning an hour. And you haven’t even begun analyzing the data yet.

Marcus Blair knows this pain, and he’s spent years building a solution to eliminate it. That solution is called CoreIQ, a new platform that consolidates information from multiple systems into a single, secure chat interface, dramatically improving efficiency and preserving privacy.

CoreIQ is the latest offering from Omega Business Solutions, the company Blair launched during the pandemic.

“Like many people, I was laid off during COVID. But the bills didn’t stop coming,” Blair said. “So, I started my own company, and here I am, five years later.”

Getting Omega off the ground, however, was far from simple. Blair, whose background is in process engineering, said it took nearly three years to refine his value proposition.

“I used to focus on the tech,” he said. “But customers aren’t buying technology—they’re buying results.

Today, Omega Business Solutions helps companies identify process bottlenecks, create real-time data dashboards, and deploy AI agents tailored to their operations. CoreIQ builds on that foundation, offering a simplified user experience that integrates with CRM tools, accounting software, project management platforms, and more.

“We pull in all your data and serve it up in a ChatGPT-like format,” Blair explained. “You just ask a question, and get an answer based on your own company’s data.”

The platform is easy to implement, intuitive to use, and most importantly, a major time saver.

“It eliminates platform-hopping, while keeping everything fully private,” Blair said.

Now, he’s focused on getting CoreIQ into the hands of the small business owners who need it most.

Supporting Other Founders

“Entrepreneurship takes a certain level of determination,” Blair said. “Most ‘overnight successes’ are years in the making. You’ve got to believe in yourself. That’s something I wish I had understood more clearly when I started.”

Blair recently became a mentor through the Knoxville Entrepreneur Center (KEC), helping early-stage founders avoid the pitfalls he faced in his journey.

“KEC is a phenomenal organization,” he said. “If I can help someone steer clear of a few bumps in the road, I feel like I’m paying it forward.”

That same spirit is behind AI for Business, a free educational series Blair hosts at Knox Base on Broadway. The workshops are designed to help business owners better understand and adopt AI tools in their day-to-day operations.

“Entrepreneurs tend to be independent,” Blair said. “But we’re stronger when we sharpen each other’s skills. If we can do that, it’s a win-win.”
