America’s Seed Fund Week offering programming over parts of three days

It is an important opportunity to get an early understanding of SBIR and STTR program priorities for federal agencies.

Looking to apply for a Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) award in 2024? If so, this virtual session in late January might be a must attend for you. Over parts of three days starting at 12:30 p.m. EST on January 23, it’s the “2024 Virtual Road Tour” that is part of America’s Seed Fund Week.

The three partial days of programming have been organized by the U.S. Small Business Administration and include these highlights:

  • January 23 – Sessions featuring Program Directors on earth/climate/weather, cybersecurity, health and energy;
  • January 24 – Road Tour hosts, including Launch Tennessee‘s Emily Masters and Allyn Abadie who will discuss the May 15 stop in Knoxville; and sessions on “Inside the Head of an Evaluator” along with opportunities to hear from agency Program Directors in artificial intelligence/machine learning and space/transport/flight; and
  • January 25 – More Road Tour hosts, a session titled “Next Steps, Getting Started,” and spotlights on the National Institutes of Health; STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics); and communications and sensors.

The agenda for each day can be found here along with a link to registration.
