121 Tech Hub is expanding, taking over entire bottom floor
Brandon Bruce shared that he and John Bruck opted to rent the entire bottom two floors of 121 Jackson Ave.
It’s been less than one year since Brandon Bruce and John Bruck opened up the 121 Tech Hub in the heart of Old City Knoxville. The co-working space is now the base for dozens of entrepreneurs in Knoxville, as well as the office space for Market Square Ventures, Knoxville’s year-old venture capital firm for early-stage companies.
In the first couple of months, entrepreneurs jumped at the opportunity to join the space. For example, teknovation.biz has interviewed Simba Jonga and the Laborup team, who are members of the Tech Hub, Josh Wright and Rob Monday, the co-founders of TenantText are members, Haseeb Qureshi a.k.a “HQ,” the founder of Entreheart.AI is a member, and so is Don DeRosa, the founder of Eonix. These are just a few names. The list is always growing.
To meet the growing demand, Bruce and Bruck decided to take ownership of the entire rest of the first floor and basement. It will open up eight new office spaces; including a couple two-person offices.
“We get inquiries about joining the Tech Hub every week, and we’re excited to offer these new spaces,” Bruce said. “We want to support these founders with infrastructure and community so they can grow faster and grow bigger.”
