You still have time to nominate the “Coolest Thing Made in Tennessee”

Four finalists will be introduced and winner named during the "Smart Solutions for Smart Factories Expo" July 25.

Manufacturers across the United States are preparing to embrace Industry 4.0 and increase their investment in smart factory technology to maintain competitiveness and improve their operational efficiency so they can thrive in an industry that demands constant change.

In preparation for the transformation, the Smart Factory Institute is hosting the “Smart Solutions for Smart Factories Expo” from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. EDT on July 25 at the Partnerships in Industry & Education (PIE) Innovation Center in Cleveland. As a part of the event, there will be a special celebration at lunch as part of the first annual “Coolest Thing Made in Tennessee” competition with four finalists featured.

Nominations for the coolest product made in the Volunteer State are being accepted through the end of the week at this link.

Denise Hall, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Smart Factory Institute, said she expects at least 20 companies to exhibit. Fifteen of those are already listed.

Partners in the Expo include the Chattanooga Regional Manufacturers Association, Tennessee Manufacturers Association, and the University of Tennessee Center for Industrial Services.
