Y-12 spotlights partnership with UTK College of Law

For the past several years, the Technology Transfer Office at the Y-12 National Security Complex has partnered with the University of Tennessee, Knoxville (UTK) College of Law to give law students a unique opportunity to work with Y-12. The partnership is two fold — to help the UTK students gain useful experience working in government contracting and intellectual property and to enhance the work of the Technology Transfer Office.

Y-12 spotlighted two of the latest participants in this recent news release. They are Caitlin Hoch Nussbaum and Tori Smith. The former is the wife of Justin Nussbaum, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Ascend Manufacturing, a participant in Cohort 2 of the “Innovation Crossroads” program operated by Oak Ridge National Laboratory.
