Winter Innovations achieves another major milestone
Another major milestone has been reached by the team at Winter Innovations Inc. In a recent social media post, Lia Winter, Co-Founder of the company, provided this update (along with the photograph):
“Last week, I had the incredible experience of seeing a medical device that Preston Dishner and I invented, patented, designed, and developed used in a patient for the first time. We have worked passionately toward this first case milestone with a drive fueled by our conviction that improving stitching can positively impact surgical outcomes for patients undergoing orthopedic surgery. It was one of the most fulfilling moments of my life when this became a reality during our first surgical case with EasyWhip™. The milestone meant even more to me than I initially dreamed when not one but TWO talented, innovative, and inspiring female orthopedic surgeons became the first users of EasyWhip™ – thank you Danielle Butto and Dr. Rachel Balloch, FACFAS!
