Winners of three “Idea Leap Grant” competitions announced
Southern Soul Yoga and Renew Exterior Services placed first and second in the Chattanooga event, one of the three regions.
The winners of the Tennessee Valley Federal Credit Union‘s (TVFCU) 7th Annual “Chattanooga Region Idea Leap Grant” are as follows:
- First place: Southern Soul Yoga, which secured a $30,000 jackpot;
- Second place: Renew Exterior Services, which walked away with $15,000; and
- Runners-up: Creekside Flower Farm, Divine Purity Aurapothecary Co., and Humanitees Print & Design, which each won $10,000.
In addition to the Chattanooga event, the TVFCU also held two other competitions last week – one at the PIE Center in Cleveland for the Ocoee Region and in Calhoun, GA for the Northwest Georgia Region. The same amount of funding – $75,000 in total – was awarded in those competitions.
- Ocoee Riverside Farm captured first place and $30,000 in the Ocoee Region, with Bakery on Main taking second place and $15,000. The other three contestants – Ace Kayaking School, Burnside Insurance Group, and Treehouse Mountain – captured $10,000 each.
- Winners in the North Georgia competition were Cake Addicts (first place and $30,000), Insane Paintball LLC (second place and $15,000), and runners-up Caffeine Addicts, Dalton Brewing Company, and Dyer Livestock Beef LLC ($10,000 each).
