Vol Court reconvenes for the 2024 fall semester
The Anderson Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation (ACEI) has released the schedule for the 2024 fall Vol Court.
Students are back on campus, which means it’s time for another semester of Vol Court, hosted by the Anderson Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation (ACEI) in the Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
Students of any year – and field of study – are welcome to apply for the learning sessions and pitch competition. Students who attend two of the three speaker sessions in person will be eligible to pitch in week four.
The first session will be held on Tuesday, September 10, where Alex Stiles, the Founder of Vitriform 3D will speak to students. Stiles is developing new materials through recycled glass and has found unique solutions for generating additional revenue through his recycled glass pick-up program.
The second session will be held on Tuesday, September 17, when Chuck Wilson, the Co-Founder of HumanAI will speak to students. HumanAI is a current participant in “The WORKS” accelerator at the Knoxville Entrepreneur Center (KEC). The team is using AI to help corporations make better-informed marketing decisions.
The third session will be held on Tuesday, September 24, where Bianca Bailey, the Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Agriwater, will speak about her experiences in Innovation Crossroads, with KEC, and her current partnership with the UT Dairy Farm. Agriwater’s technology turns manure into clean water.
The final pitch competition for Vol Court will be on Tuesday, October 1.
All of the sessions will be held for one hour from 5:45- 6:45 in the Haslam Business Building Room 303. For more information click here.
