“Venture Atlanta” accepting applications to pitch at October event
Applications to pitch during the upcoming “Venture Atlanta” conference are now being accepted at this link through August 12. The 15th annual event – the largest technology conference in the Southeast with an expected attendance of 1,200 people this year – will take place October 19-20 at The Woodruff Arts Center and Atlanta Symphony Hall.
Since its founding 15 years ago, “Venture Atlanta” has been selecting the most promising tech companies from across the Southeast region and bringing in top investment firms from across the nation to hear them pitch. The organizers say the event has helped launch more than 700 companies and raise $6.5 billion in funding.
Companies can be selected in one of two categories. If chosen as a “presenter,” the designated individual will pitch her/his company during the event. Those chosen for the “showcase” category are either early stage or pre-revenue who have the opportunity to “get on the radar of investors.”
