Valor Ventures adds Gary Peat as Third General Partner
Valor Ventures, an Atlanta venture capital firm, has added a third General Partner. Gary Peat began his career in start-up investing as a Partner at Stonehenge Partners in Columbus, OH, and later joined Council Capital in Nashville as General Partner before coming an Emeritus Partner in 2014.
Founded in 2015 by Lisa Calhoun, Valor Venture’s platform includes “Startup Runway,” the largest pitch event for underrepresented founders in the country and an event where Knoxville’s Sofia Tomov of Qardian Labs pitched last month (see our teknovation.biz article here); Atlanta Start-up Podcast; and Atlanta Tech Park, a 45,000 square foot innovation center dedicated to accelerating local tech innovation globally.
