Launch Tennessee has joined with six economic development organizations to sponsor The Tennessee House during next month’s South By Southwest (SXSW) gathering in Austin, TX.

Each March, a diverse group of creatives across the technology, film, and music industries converge for nine days of collaboration starting March 8 and ending March 10. There are conference sessions, Film & TV Festival screenings, Music Festival showcases, Comedy Festival events, world-class Exhibitions, tech competitions, and Award ceremonies.

The Tennessee House will showcase innovation and creativity from across the Volunteer State with a private reception on March 8 and two days of SXSW activations on March 9 and 10. Attendees will get to learn about the latest in tech and innovation in the state and meet the creative minds who power Tennessee’s start-up network and ecosystem.

• The festivities start with a VIP reception March 8. To be admitted, attendees have to apply and declare some tie to the Volunteer State. The link is here.
• From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. CST on March 9 at the Electric Shuffle Austin, there’s an event known as “901 Day” where the focus is on all things Memphis. Stop by the Tennessee House for Memphis-style panels, pitches, and programming, plus can’t-miss swag and authentic Memphis-bites. • Then, from 6 to 8 p.m. CST that evening, there’s the “Smooth as Tennessee Whiskey” reception, also at Electric Shuffle Austin. To register, click here.
• That will be followed the same evening by “Hip-Hop Karakoe” from 8 to 10 p.m. CST, also at Electric Shuffle Austin. Click on this link to register.
• The final event is on March 10 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. CST. Billed as “Brunch & Tech,” it will be an opportunity to showcase a dozen of the state’s most promising start-ups. Registration is at this link.
