Techstars announces Executive Director for Hampton Roads project

Techstars, which is launching an accelerator in Knoxville, has named the Executive Director of Ecosystem Development for its Hampton Roads, VA project.

Aazia Mickens-Dessaso assumes the position after serving as Director of the Office of Innovation for Zel Technologies LLC. As Executive Director, she will work to enhance collaborations within the Hampton Roads start-up community by hosting events, sharing best practices, and integrating members with Techstars’ global network.

The start-up ecosystem development program, announced in October, is funded by GO Virginia and represents a partnership between757 Collab and Techstars.
