TAEBC schedules annual meeting for March 25, opens nominations for its leadership award

The Tennessee Advanced Energy Business Council (TAEBC) has issued a “Save the Date” notice for its annual meeting as well as a solicitation of nominations for the annual “Thomas B. Ballard Advanced Energy Leadership Award.”

According to yesterday’s email, the TAEBC annual meeting will be a virtual event on March 25 – times to be announced later. The membership organization champions the state’s advanced energy economy as an economic development and job creation strategy for the Volunteer State. Two key events are the annual meeting in March and the “Opportunities in Energy” forum in December.

The “Leadership Award,” named for yours truly who was the TAEBC’s inaugural President, honors exemplary leadership and success in championing, connecting, and strengthening Tennessee’s advanced energy economy. Nominations for the award are being accepted through 12 noon EST March 1. To nominate someone, click here.
