Shockwave Motors announces new crowdfunding effort
John McMillian, Founder and Chief Executive Officer at Shockwave Motors Inc., has announced a new crowdfunding campaign to raise working capital for operations, expansion, and to accelerate new products to the market.
The first product to be sold will be the Defiant EV3 RoadsterTM which combines the excitement of a motorcycle with the additional safety features and stability of a car. The latest iteration was unveiled at the end of September at “Motor Bella,” a weeklong event that was a scaled down version of the “North American International Auto Show.”
McMillan says additional EVs on the drawing board include a Last Mile Delivery Van, two-person pickup, four-person sedan, and two-person sports trike. Most of these vehicles will fit the same basic chassis to minimize manufacturing costs.
