Newest version of Defiant electric roadster officially unveiled at weather-impacted Michigan event
We noted in this recent teknovation.biz article that Shockwave Motors Inc. would unveil the newest version of the Defiant EV3 electric roadster at a brand new event in Michigan.
Named “Motor Bella,” the weeklong event was a scaled down version of the “North American International Auto Show” that has been a global industry leader for years. That show has been postponed again due to COVID-19, and Motor Bella will be an all outdoor event at the M1 Concourse in Pontiac.
John McMillan, company Founder, shared with us photographs of the newest version along with some details about the unexpected deluge of rain and high winds that impacted the event. “The pavilion we were located in was flooded with several inches of water,” McMillan said. “We were lucky and our pavilion did not sustain any significant damage – others did! The overall damage was so severe all activities were cancelled for Wednesday. Our events were postponed until Friday, and that actually gave us the opportunity to participate in two days of the public events.”
