IBM and the University of Chicago have announced their intent to offer start-ups in the Duality accelerator resources and support to develop quantum software.

The other locations are Idaho National Laboratory, Paducah Gaseous Diffusion Plant, and the Savannah River Site.

SkyNano uses CO2 and electricity to produce solid carbon and oxygen. The start-up stores CO2 permanently as carbon nanomaterials for consumer goods.

Local officials were unaware of the provision passed by the General Assembly, but at least one expects to make up any losses with future property taxes and economic recruiting.
