Next “Let Her Speak” events are coming-up this week

The Knoxville Entrepreneur Center is working with Catherine Porth and the “Let Her Speak” group on the latter’s next event – a combination in-person happy hour and virtual workshop.

Set for this Thursday (June 17), “Seeing the Superhero in You,” will feature a 30-minute talk by Angelique Adams, an engineer and author here in Knoxville. Adams is currently the Chief Innovation Officer at Aperam, which manufactures stainless steel and specialty alloys. There will also be a collaborative activity and networking.

The talk will focus on leadership qualities, and how each person’s unique skills are their superpower. “Let Her Speak” will also be organizing a “League of Extraordinary Women.”

The happy hour will be held in-person at Maple Hall on June 16 from 6 to 7 p.m. Attendance to this event is limited. The workshop will go from 8:30-11 a.m. on the Remo Platform. Attendance at the event is $20 or name your price. Scholarships are available to the event. Learn more and register here.
