New Exhibit at the Knoxville Museum of Art
The Knoxville Museum of Art invites the public to the opening reception for its newest exhibition Tools As Art: Work & Play on Friday, May 10, beginning at 5:30 pm. The exhibition will be on view May 3-August 4, 2024.
Tellico Trout Festival
On May 3 and 4, the Tellico Trout Festival brings the community together for educational opportunities – primarily about outdoor education, good eats, and activities. There will be local fishing guides, conservation information, lodging services, craft vendors as well as fly fishing and casting demonstrations.
Morristown’s Art and Bluegrass Festival 2024
On May 4, The Morristown Chamber is hosting a festival to draw attention to all the wonderful businesses in the area. For the event, streets will be filled with art and craft vendors, alongside live art demonstrations and activities for the entire family.
Market Square Farmers Market
As with every Saturday during the spring and summer months, the Market Square in downtown Knoxville will host the weekly farmers market from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. This week is the first official market of the spring! They will run through November 23.
Irreverent Warriors Hike
Irreverent Warriors is a non-profit organization that aims to prevent veteran suicide by bringing veterans together through humor and camaraderie. The organization’s vision is to unite the veteran community, promote a healthy culture among its members, and improve the veteran outlook. The hike in Knoxville is coming up on May 11. The organization will meet at 401 Henley St, Knoxville, TN.
