Black Tech Tuesdays is a signature initiative of the Blacks In Tech Chattanooga Chapter, aimed at providing a platform for networking, learning, and collaboration within the local tech community. Each month, Black Tech Tuesdays will offer a dynamic lineup of programming, featuring industry experts, thought leaders, and innovators.

WTVC Channel 9 in Chattanooga produces an audio podcast titled “Tomorrow Town, Tennessee,” and one of the recent ones featured Knoxville native Cam Doody. He was one of the Co-Founders of Bellhop while a student at Auburn University and is now one of the people behind Brickyard, described as “an insulator, not an accelerator. We do not have any formal programming or demo day.”

The nearly 30-minute long conversation can be found on the main page here. It will be easy to find among the listings. The conversation is titled “A conversation on entrepreneurship with Brickyard’s Cam Doody.”

From Johnson City:

David Nelson, Executive Director of FoundersForge, is the speaker for the next session of Amplify423. Set for one hour beginning at 12 noon EDT on April 11 at Spark Plaza, Nelson will share his experience with seeking funding for eight start-ups. Some were bootstrapped, while he sought investment capital for others.

• Under the headline of “10 Women You Should Know (If You Don’t Already),” the Nashville Entrepreneur Center (EC) cast the spotlight on the women who “have made a big impact in their respective industries and in our community. Some are just taking off, some starting their second venture – some with growing families!
