Launch Tennessee seeking three Technology Advancement Fellows

The five-month role will support the new Tennessee Technology Advancement Consortium.

Launch Tennessee is seeking up to three highly motivated and innovative students to join its new technology commercialization pilot program.

The Technology Advancement Fellows will support Jennifer Skjellum, the organization’s new Commercialization Counselor, who is working with three Tennessee universities in the inaugural effort. Currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate student at a Tennessee university are eligible with a preference for students from Tennessee Tech University, University of Memphis, Tennessee State University, or any Tennessee Historically Black College and University.

Under the initiative known as the Tennessee Technology Advancement Consortium (TTAC), the Fellows will contribute to the development of high impact resources to be utilized throughout the  pilot program, provide supplemental reviews for technologies submitted to TTAC, and create support materials such as technology pitch decks.

Deadline to apply is December 15. The fellowship program will run from January 15 to May 31, 2024, with the opportunity for summer extension pending the availability of funds. The application can be found here.
