Launch Tennessee reports impact of Angel Tax Credit program
Launch Tennessee has submitted to appropriate state officials the annual report required as part of the Angel Tax Credit (ATC) program adopted by the General Assembly and signed into law by the Governor in 2017. The report (2020 Angel Tax Credit Impact_Final Report) notes these highlights of the program:
- Ninety-six companies applied to be included in the program with 90 companies deemed eligible for qualified investments.
- Twenty-nine companies received ATC qualified investments.
- One hundred and seventy applications were submitted for the ATC, and 115 of the applications were approved.
