KTech a finalist in national competition that Nashville Tech Council wins
The new Knoxville Technology Council (KTech) was a finalist in the “Public Policy Advocacy” category in last Thursday’s awards event hosted by the Technology Councils of North America. KTech entered its November 2019 Election Day “Politicode” event (see teknovation.biz article) when students showed elected officials the importance of coding.
Winner in that category was the nearby Greater Nashville Technology Council. Other categories in the competition were: (1) “Creative Marketing and Communications”; (2) “Talent Pipeline and Workforce”; (3) “Major Impact on Tech Community”; and (4) “Initial COVID Response Plan/Actions.”
