Knoxville Chamber hosts Premier Partner event showcasing participants in Spark Cleantech Accelerator
The event was designed to make connections between the six start-ups and the local business community.
The Knoxville Chamber hosted a Premier Partner event on September 30 showcasing the Spark Cleantech Accelerator participants, and it drew two community leaders. Both University of Tennessee (UT) System President Randy Boyd and Knoxville Mayor Indya Kincannon spoke at the event that featured brief pitches by the six companies that are midway through the accelerator.
It was one of more than a dozen events scheduled during Innov865 Week with the annual Startup Day occurring October 1. Also on the calendar is PYA’s Raising Capital in Knoxville: A Look Behind the Curtain set for October 2 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Institute for Advanced Materials and Manufacturing at the UT Research Park.
