KEC, The Biz Foundry bringing “Restaurant Recovery” program to their communities

Two of the East Tennessee members of Launch Tennessee’s Entrepreneur Network will be offering the “Restaurant Recovery” program pioneered in Chattanooga by Proof, a collaborative community for food and beverage professionals.

The Knoxville Entrepreneur Center (KEC) and The Biz Foundry in Cookeville are accepting applications now for the four-week virtual program that is designed for owners and operators of restaurants and foodservice businesses with a focus on stabilization and growth. The course covers everything from navigating regulations to how to build and improve the business’ financial foundation, marketing to its customers, and human resources.

  • In the case of KEC, it has lined-up the City of Knoxville, Knoxville Area Urban League, Knoxville Chamber and TVA as sponsors. Application deadline is January 15, and the program launches January 26. To apply, click here.
  • The Biz Foundry’s edition starts January 12 in partnership with Historic Cookeville Cityscape, Cookeville Chamber, and the Tennessee Small Business Development Center serving the Upper Cumberland region. Deadline to apply is January 6, and the application is available here.
