Investing in start-ups is about the future of a community
One of our search engine word traps caught this opinion piece that was published in the Albuquerque Journal, and we thought it was worth sharing for several reasons.
- First, it’s focused on angel capital and the need to raise more investment dollars for start-ups.
- Second, the opinion piece was written an an angel investor who has also been the recipient of angel funding.
- Finally, as the author notes, the region is home to three national labs: Air Force Research Laboratory, Sandia National Laboratories and Los Alamos National Laboratory. Knoxville does not have three national labs, but it does have Oak Ridge National Laboratory and the Tennessee Valley Authority.
