Initial speakers announced for this year’s “TVC National Summit”

The two-day event will be held at the end of May at Vanderbilt University in Nashville.

The Tennessee Valley Corridor (TVC) has announced the first speakers who will present during the upcoming “TVC National Summit” May 29 and 30 in Nashville. They include:

  • Tennessee U.S. Senator Marsha Blackburn;
  • Congressmen Chuck Fleischmann (TN), Mark Green (TN), and Chuck Edwards (NC);
  • Chancellor Daniel Diermeier, Vanderbilt University;
  • Randy Boyd, President of The University of Tennessee;
  • Major General Brett Sylvia, Commanding General 101st Airborne Division & Fort Campbell;
  • Joseph Pelfrey, Director of NASA Marshall Space Flight Center; and
  • Dr. Stephen Streiffer, Director of Oak Ridge National Laboratory.

The TVC’s annual summit is designed to share information and advance collaboration between our region’s top federal assets with key educational institutions, local chambers, and civic organizations, businesses, and political leaders. Sessions at the 2024 Summit will showcase key updates and discussions from across the Corridor related to America’s national security, advanced energy solutions, science and space exploration, and transportation and mobility.
