Industry veteran now in higher ed sees likelihood of internet brownouts with increased demand

We used to depend on the internet primarily for email and video streaming. Now, with so many people working from home and some educational institutions delivering instruction online, you have to wonder about the added strain on the internet. One of our favorite sources for articles – WRAL TechWire – just posted this great interview on the topic with Mark Johnson, an internet industry veteran of more than two decades who now runs information technology services as Assistant Vice Chancellor of Communication Technologies at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
