
How Women Invest is a new fund focused on female founders
A new fund named How Women Invest has announced its first close of $5 million with 97 individual investors in the fund. The goal is a $10 million fund with up to 249 limited partners.
According to this article from Crunchbase News, 90 percent of the investors are women, with more than one-half being women of color including Latinx, African American and Asian. The average check size is $50,000 to $75,000, and the fund will be investing in high potential women-led companies.
