Homegrown Abridged Beer pledges support for Leukemia survivors

The Knoxville-based brewery donated more than $10,000 to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS).

In an effort to give back to the community in a powerful and meaningful way, Jesse Bowers, the Founder of Abridged Beer led his team in raising more than $10,000 to go toward Leukemia research.

Each year, various companies and organizations across the region band together to raise money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) Light The Night initiative. Across Knoxville, Nashville, and Birmingham participating organizations raised $1.9 million toward the cause.

The annual Light The Night walk in Knoxville will be hosted on November 6th. As of today, the location is still to be determined.
