Grow Bioplastics, Innovasan competing today in Charlotte
It’s show time for two Knoxville start-ups today at the Charlotte Venture Challenge.
Grow Bioplastics, which competed last week in the Rice Business Plan Competition and won the consolation round, and Innovasan, which competes Thursday in Launch Tennessee’s “The TENN” finale, are two of 30 start-ups competing in the event. Both Knoxville companies are finalists in the new energy and high technology category that includes four other start-ups.
The event begins at 12:30 p.m.
As noted in our recent teknovation.biz story, this is the first time Knoxville has placed two companies in the competition that was won last year by General Graphene.
