Founders selected for The Biz Foundry ‘Start Here Pitch Competition’ next week
Finalists are competing for $10,000, $5,000, and $2,500 in prizes.
The Biz Foundry is a nonprofit entrepreneur-development center dedicated to fueling the Upper Cumberland’s economy “one startup at a time.” With free and affordable coaching, flexible coworking space, hands-on workshops, and a regional entrepreneur network, it’s the go-to resource for founders looking to launch or scale businesses in the region.
Now, the entrepreneur center is providing an opportunity for local area founders to pitch their businesses for a chance to win non-dilutive funding to the tune of $10,000, $5,000, or $2,500. Plus, the founders will also have the chance to pitch to the Upper Cumberland Angel Investors Fund.
Congratulations to the 2025 Finalists:
- Tee Williams of Better Butter Cookie Company
- Kent Simpkins of AETIVA Sweetener, Inc
- Thomas Robertson of Digithreads
- Cindy Malawey of Rebabit Health
- Mike Taylor of Volunteer Bulk Transfer
- Jay Lefkovitz of ElevateTrak
This competition isn’t just about the prize money. It’s also about building connections, fueling innovation, and shining a spotlight on the incredible entrepreneurs of the Upper Cumberland.
