Entrepreneurs flood Nashville for “Innovation Week”
"Day on the Hill" ends with reception for state legislators. Wednesday shifts to full day of workshops.
Launch Tennessee‘s “Innovation Week” is underway in Music City.
The organization joined with Life Science Tennessee to host the annual “Day on the Hill” Tuesday where members and supporters visited with 50 state legislators to discuss the importance of the state’s innovation economy and also advocate for restoration of Launch Tennessee’s SBIR and STTR Matching Fund which was not included in the proposed FY25 state budget.
Then late Tuesday afternoon, the two organizations hosted a reception for legislators and their supporters at Zeppelin Rooftop Restaurant and Bar near the State Capitol.
Programming continues today with a variety of sessions at Tennessee State University.
