CSU San Bernardino spins-out entrepreneurship program into free-standing School
California State University, San Bernardino is doing a spin-out, moving its entrepreneurship academic program from the institution’s Department of Management into a free-standing School of Entrepreneurship.
According to this news release, Cal State San Bernardino becomes the first such university in the state and one of less than 15 in the world to have a standalone college or school focused on entrepreneurship.
Enrollment in the program has grown from fewer than 20 students in Fall 2002 to its current total of 265 students, and school officials believe that the it could nearly double in five years as a free-standing School.
