Columnist recommends a sharp knife rather than a Swiss Army knife
Joe Procopio, Chief Product Officer at Get Spiffy and Founder of teachingstartup.com, is a frequent contributor to WRAL TechWire. His latest column is titled “Million dollar question: How start-ups build products that customers will pay for.”
“But while every expert will tell you to listen to your customers and build what they want, none of those experts stick around for when you’ve done exactly that and those same customers aren’t buying what you’ve built for them,” Procopio writes.
To illustrate the approach he recommends, Procopio uses the analogy of a sharp knife versus a Swiss Army knife. He believes the former is good and the latter is bad.
