Coffee table book celebrates Nashville’s vibrant innovation ecosystem
Innovators and innovation enablers share the stories of their organizations within the book’s industry-specific chapters.
At an event last Thursday in Music City, INNOVATE® Nashville announced a 252-page premium coffee table book that showcases the innovators, innovations, thought leaders, companies, products, and services within the city’s innovation and entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Global Village Publishing published the book that focuses on Nashville using augmented reality videos, an online platform, and a global network with a common goal of ensuring the best innovations and innovation enablers connect and succeed.
“INNOVATE® Nashville is a celebration of the entrepreneurial spirit and innovation energy from the Nashville region,” says Brian Moyer, former Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Greater Nashville Technology Council and Project Champion of INNOVATE® Nashville. “It’s all about connecting the innovators and innovation enablers whose paths might not cross otherwise and building a global innovation network. Our hope with INNOVATE® Nashville is that the stories highlighted in these pages will resonate with business leaders and decision-makers across the city, and even across the globe, who seek to effect positive change in their cities and businesses.”
The publication opens with a showcase from the Nashville Chamber of Commerce on why Nashville is a great place for innovators and offers insights into business, culture, communities, infrastructure, history, and how the city is taking on Silicon Valley to position itself as an up-and-coming Smart City.
Innovators and innovation enablers share the stories of their organizations within the book’s industry-specific chapters. Some of the organizations spotlighted include The Wond’ry and its parent (Vanderbilt University), Belmont University, Go West Creative, HCA Healthcare, VendEngine, EvidenceCare, Nashville Entrepreneur Center, Intera Works, and numerous change-makers in Music City’s technology innovation, blockchain, and Web3,
education, fintech, and healthcare sectors.
