
Cleveland, OH-based start-up support organization laying-off 15 percent of staff
A large entrepreneurial support organization in Ohio with a budget of about $22 million has announced significant layoffs. JumpStart, the Cleveland-based non-profit that supports young, entrepreneurial businesses, is laying off 12 people, about 15 percent of its full-time staff. According to the organization, the reductions directly related to the COVID-19 pandemic will not negatively affect JumpStart’s work in supporting entrepreneurs. Here’s more information.
