Charlotte company repurposes its drones to help with COVID-19
If exterior opportunities dry up, maybe there’s something to do in the inside of a building.
That played into the thinking behind a pivot for a Charlotte-based start-up that was founded to use drones connected to power-pressure washers for safer cleaning of building exteriors. Now, as a result of COVID-19, Lucid Drones has repurposed its devices and is now focused on dispensing a solution that breaks down contagions on surfaces we come into contact with regularly, including fabrics and closed-container foods.
