Apps developers flourish here and everywhere
We found this article over the weekend and thought it aptly described many of the types of start-ups that are emerging in East Tennessee. Just read two different teknovation.biz posts earlier this week on companies in the Knoxville Entrepreneur Center’s “MediaWorks” accelerator and two start-ups that the News Sentinel’s Carly Harrington is following during 2014. Do we have 100 as Chris Heivly, Managing Director of The Start-up Factory in Durham, said of that region? Probably not, but we do know of several dozen at least.
