Anderson Center at UTK announces large cohort for the Summer Startup Studio
This is the second cohort of the Startup Studio, which is a 12-week summer program designed to help UT, Knoxville students launch their business ideas.
The Anderson Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation (ACEI) at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville (UTK), announced its second cohort of the Startup Studio. The 12-week course is hosted by Haseeb Qureshi (HQ), an ACEI Teaching Fellow and lecturer in the Management and Entrepreneurship Department at the Haslam College of Business.
Over the 12-week program, students will be tasked with bringing their business ideas to life. They will do so by learning the core principles of entrepreneurship and establishing a foundation of knowledge for running a business. Students must commit at least 15 hours per week toward the program to accelerate the growth of their startup.
Some of the key topics include ideation, legal compliance, purpose, funding, market size, prototyping, and establishing a minimum viable product (MVP).
