From Knoxville:

Johnson Architecture Inc. has been named to the inaugural 2025 Forbes America’s Best-in-State Residential Architects list.

The full-service architecture and interior design firm is among just ten architectural firms in Tennessee that made the list and one of only 400 recognized across the United States out of 20,000 evaluated.

“It’s always rewarding to realize a client’s distinct vision for their home and bring it to fruition,” said Daryl Johnson, Founder and President of Johnson Architecture. “So, it’s especially gratifying to be recognized by Forbes for our residential design and named among the nation’s most prestigious residential architects. I congratulate our entire team.”

From Williamson County:

Two Tennessee cities, both located in Williamson County, made WalletHub’s latest listing of the best small cities in America. Brentwood placed #7, while Franklin came in at #15.

In order to determine the best small cities in America, WalletHub compared 1,318 cities across five key dimensions:

  1. Affordability;
  2. Economic Health;
  3. Education and Health;
  4. Quality of Life; and
  5. Safety.

For its sample, WalletHub selected cities with population sizes between 25,000 and 100,000 and considered only the “city proper” in each case, excluding cities in the surrounding metro area.

The rankings can be found here.
