Sixteen honored at last week’s “Nashville Smart Business Dealmakers Conference”
Ten recognized as Smart Dealmakers of the Year, with six inducted into the Dealmakers Hall of Fame.
A number of Nashville area residents were recognized recently at the “Nashville Smart Business Dealmakers Conference” as individuals who are shaping the landscape of business and innovation in Music City. Ten were honored as Smart Business Dealmakers, while six were inducted into the Dealmakers Hall of Fame.
Those earning recognition as Smart Business Dealmakers were:
- Lindsey Cox, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Launch Tennessee;
- Chris Ferrell, CEO and Co-Founder of Endeavor Business Media;
- Tara Fung and Josh Rosenblatt, Co-Founders of Co:Create;
- Danielle McGee Gibson, CEO and Founder of Black Business Boom;
- Ray Guzman, CEO of SwitchPoint Ventures;
- Hunter Hillenmeyer, Nashville Investing Partners for Company Ventures;
- Chaitanya Hiremath, a serial entrepreneur and investor whose most recent venture was Scanta Inc.;
- Shalin Tejani, CEO of Legacy Dental Group; and
- Ian Villa, Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Whisper Aero Inc.
Those inducted into the Hall of Fame were:
- James Aylward who had a long and distinguished career as an entrepreneur, investor and mentor, engineering three successful exits in less than 10 years;
- Andrew Byrd, Founder and CEO of TVV Capital;
- Milt Capps, Editor and Publisher of Venture Nashville Connections;
- Beth Chase who has built a long and distinguished career in management consulting;
- Joe Maxwell, Managing Partner of FINTOP Capital; and
- Mark Montgomery, another serial entrepreneur whose latest venture is hellomarko that is focused on empowering creative transformation.
